In rural areas around Hargeisa, many children from low-income families face significant barriers to accessing quality education due to the lack of schools, long distances to existing educational facilities, and limited financial resources. As a result, many children are unable to attend school or continue their education. Girls and vulnerable children are particularly affected by these challenges. This project aims to address these problems by building a school that provides accessible, safe, and affordable quality education for children from disadvantaged families. The school will help improve literacy, create equal educational opportunities, and contribute to the long-term development of the local community.
My project aims to improve the existing school facilities and provide a better learning environment for students.
The proposed project includes the following:
- Renovation of Existing Schools: Repairing and improving the existing school buildings to provide a safer and more suitable learning environment for students.
- Construction of Three New Classrooms: Building three additional classrooms to accommodate more students and help address the shortage of classroom space.
- Improvement of Learning Facilities: Ensuring that the schools have better facilities to support students and their educational needs.
After assessing the needs of the schools and considering the estimated construction costs in my local area, I estimate that the total budget required for this project is approximately US$10,000.
